Only legally registered organizations, companies, and institutions may register on the portal to offer internship opportunities to applicants.
2. Company Obligations
- Each registered company must provide genuine internship opportunities that align with applicants’ areas of study.
- All listed internship opportunities must clearly state the roles, duration, and location.
- A company should offer internship opportunities to applicants in all departments for a period of one year and take new applicants every year.
- Companies must treat interns fairly, offering them a learning environment that supports professional growth.
3. Account Registration
- All company information provided during registration must be accurate and verifiable.
- Multiple accounts for the same organization are not allowed.
- Shamani Internship Portal reserves the right to suspend or remove any company that provides false or misleading information.
4. Use of the Portal
- Companies may post, update, and manage internship listings at any time.
- Applicants’ data accessed through this portal must only be used for internship recruitment purposes.
- Sharing applicant data with third parties without consent is prohibited.
5. Internship Commitment
Companies are expected to honor the commitment of hosting interns for the full agreed duration (typically one year). Early termination without valid reason may lead to penalties or blacklisting on the platform.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
All company and applicant information is securely stored and handled in compliance with data protection standards. No personal data will be shared without proper authorization.
7. Amendments
Shamani Internship Portal reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the system implies agreement with the updated terms.
8. Liability
- Shamani Internship Portal acts only as a listing and connecting platform.
- Shamani Internship Portal does not participate in employment contracts, interviews, agreements, payments, or any legal arrangements between applicants and companies.
- Any disputes, misconduct claims, or breaches of agreement or labour laws will be handled directly between the applicant and the company, and where necessary, through Kenyan legal or labour institutions.
